The motocross world lost someone special this week. Suzuki support rider and top amateur prospect Jesse Masterpool recently passed after crashing hard at Lake Whitney Spring Nationals. I was fortunate enough to watch and film Jesse ride during the beginning of the week. He was one of the most naturally gifted and hard-charging riders I have ever seen. I remember filming one moto in particular. Jesse had problems early in the moto and was nearly a full lap down. Regardless of being over half a track behind everyone, and the moto being half-way over, he still pushed it every bit as hard as if he was battling for the win. I wish all the strength in the world to the entire Masterpool family and all the close friends of Jesse. You will never be forgotten Master P.
