The heat and humidity didnt take its toll on Sherco USA’s Pat Smage as he took home the win at Round 5 of the NATC/AMA Nationals. Beta’s Cody Webb kept him honest, but Pat was on point all day, taking an 11 point lead into the “Pro Shootout” sections and adding to that gap by the days end. With just two rounds to go, the confidence has to be in Smage’s corner. Webb, however, has been known to pull out the strong rides when he needs them, so nothings over until monday.
